Today Golden Bee Properties is a family owned, vertically integrated operation with in-house abilities to acquire properties, construct and maintain properties and manage all of the necessary backend asset management functions. With 15 employees and a cadre of local third party vendors, Golden Bee Properties has a nimble operation able to function efficiently in its two local markets. The team is a fully integrated management team in a corporate office based in Los Angeles dedicated solely to day-to-day asset management, a construction team who handles most of the cosmetic renovations, and an accounting staff who oversees the highly technical property management software. Golden Bee Properties manages its own portfolio of multifamily properties in-house thereby controlling renovation costs and operating expenses, driving rents, and ultimately optimizing net operating income and the value of the real estate.
With approximately $50 million of real estate currently under management, Golden Bee Properties looks to grow by adding more off market properties to its portfolio attracting more high net worth, quasi-institutional and institutional investors looking to place their capital in some of the United States’ most dynamic metropolitan areas.
