Through its single purpose assets and its pooled funds Golden Bee Properties has produced significant returns for investors.  Golden Bee Properties has produced over $5 million in profits for its investors in the just the last three years. Cash on cash yields per annum have ranged from seven percent to 20 percent. Golden Bee Properties also uses specialized risk adjustment modeling to ensure that investors are receiving the most profit possible with the least amount of risk.

Our investor base of high net worth individuals and accredited investors invest anywhere from $25,000 to $5,000,000 and come back to us time and time again.  Given the two percent to three percent returns most novice investors are receiving in their 401k and stock portfolios, our investors are excited to invest with us instead.

Isaac Berneman

Chairman

Isaac is a retired attorney with over 40 years of experience in corporate, business, real estate and tax law. As an attorney, Isaac worked with investors, developers and contractors to assist with entitlement strategies, investment portfolio analysis and probate and tax planning strategies. As a licensed CA real estate broker for over 35 years, he has assisted in acquiring and developing commercial sites for numerous clients as well as formulating complex leases and negotiating contracts. Isaac has professionally managed and renovated over 200 single-family, multi-family and commercial buildings throughout his professional career. Isaac earned a Masters of Law (LLM) in Taxation and a Juris Doctor (JD) from Loyola Law School. He also earned a Bachelors degree in History with a minor in Accounting from the San Fernando Valley College. Isaac is a member of the Apartment Owners Association and the Beverly Hills Board of Realtors.

David Berneman

President

David is an experienced entrepreneur who has built his career working as a real estate consultant, developer, investor, and property manager. David manages the company’s acquisition, development and investment business, while also managing the day-to-day operations of the property management and sales business. In addition to managing day-to-day operations at Golden Bee Properties, David also brings a significant amount of experience as a real estate consultant working with a nationally recognized consulting firm called HR&A Advisors. In this capacity, David has assisted developers such as Westfield Corporation, Thomas Properties Group and NBC Universal with proforma analyses, entitlement processing, fiscal impact analyses, and various other economic studies. David is also a part-time lecturer teaching real estate market analysis at UCLA. David earned a Masters in Urban Planning from the University of California, Los Angeles and dual Bachelors degrees in Psychology and Environmental Science, Policy and Management from the University of California, Berkeley. David is also a registered LEED Accredited Professional, licensed CA real estate broker and is a member of the Los Angeles Sustainability Collaborative, US Green Building Council, Urban Land Institute and Westside Urban Forum.

Martin Berneman

Vice President, Construction & Design

Marty is an experienced construction, design and and acquisitions professional who manages all of Golden Bee Properties’ design and construction efforts. In 2002, Marty started a real estate investment enterprise, buying single-family homes and “flipping” them. Total sales volume since inception has been approximately $50 million. As developer and designer, Marty has gained extensive knowledge in financing construction projects, working with architects and engineers, managing the entitlement process, overseeing construction projects and negotiating with real estate agents, buyers and sellers. Marty is also head design-build consultant for TDC Properties, a partner of Golden Bee Properties. Marty earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Candice Kahn

Director of Operations

Candice joined Golden Bee Properties in July of 2013. She comes to us with 12 years of real estate, property management and marketing experience. Her penchant for organization and her experience in real estate brings expertise to our financial department, which she is now running. Candice is handling all of the Accounts Receivables and Payable for all 3 arms of the Golden Bee Properties. Her history includes working in the Property Management department at Watt Management Co in Santa Monica, CA, and the legal department at CIM Group in Hollywood, CA. CIM Group is a large real estate investment and development company in the Los Angeles area. Additionally she began her own Social Media Marketing company and has been running it since 2009. Candice has a Bachelors of Arts from the University of Arizona.
